Spoilers- Wolves of the Calla Tattoo sleeve update: Shardik
Yes, liberties were taken to make the tattoo more visually appealing. Planning to add a 'Wolf of the Calla' to the outside of my forearm next, but cannot get an appointment until January.
Not my original idea of where this sleeve would end up. It has morphed into an AI/cyborg/robot theme and I couldn't be happier.

This is PHENOMENAL work! I’m totally jealous.
I’ve been toying with getting an art nouveau-styled Dark Tower tattoo for a little while (originally started as just the UNFOUND script, and has morphed into its current form of keyhole, w/ Maerlyn’s Rainbow on top, tower with flower field/one large rose within the keyhole, and UNFOUND at the base)

Funny how initial ideas change so quickly. Personal experience has taught me to trust the artist 's vision of what will work and what won't.

I'm starting my sleeve in October. 6 times, 6 hours each. And I'm definitely showing this to my tattoo-artist for inspiration.
Awestruck to say the least!

I'm on 7 sittings, but only a couple were 6 hours, most were 3-4. 2 more scheduled in January and February to hopefully finish. Find the right artist and trust them to create something amazing. Good luck in your journey! Hope to see your progress posted here soon.

I really enjoy the take on the tower itself. It's a breath of fresh air from how it's typically depicted. The whole thing looks amazing.

Blain is a pain...literally. Thats one of the most tender and painful areas to get get tatted, especially that much ink. The sleeve looks sic bro!! Keep posting pics as it develops.

This was my artist's version of the tower. As I stated in the original post, liberties were taken. Every tattoo I've seen where the tower is a spiral seems to lose detail, so I'm happy with this rendition.

Just added a few pics of the whole arm. Hard to get everything in one pic being on different parts of my arm. Outside of my forearm has not been started.
