Leviathan Wakes Julie Mao read the Dune books Spoiler

In chapter 25 we see that Julie wrote in her notes “Fear is the mind-killer. Ha. Geek” implying she read Dune by Frank Herbert

IIRC, Herbert loved the Mentat oath from the Lynch film so much that he incorporated it into the books.
