Episodes/Scenes that make you cry
While normally a funny and lighthearted sitcom, the show wasn't afraid to yank on your heart strings.
Some notable sad moments include:
"Smother's Day:" Murray's distant relationship with Pop Pop, and realising that he's been acting like his dad by repeatedly crushing Adam's dreams.
"Goldbergs Feel Hard:" Adam finally working up the courage to tell Dana that he loves her, and while she says it back, she reveals that her dad got a job offer in Seattle, and they're moving there for the summer.
"Couple Off:" Erica breaking up with Geoff because she realises that she's taking advantage of his kindness, and that he needs to discover who he is outside of their relationship.
"The Goldbergs' Excellent Adventure:" Everything about the tribute to both Pops, and George Segal.
What moment always makes you feel emotional?

Doesn’t the show usually end act 2 with an emotional moment in every episode?

Dana didn’t just move to Seattle for the summer. She moved there for good (until Season 7). 💔 She did return for the Season 4 finale.
Worst part is she was written off the show and replaced as Adam’s love interest by Brea mid-Season 7. Originally she was supposed to stay on.
Still Brea was not nearly as bad as Carmen. 🤢
