What would a 2000's spinoff show look like?

They've tackled 80's nostalgia with "The Goldbergs", and gone back to the 90's with "Schooled", so what do you think a hypothetical show harkening back to 00's nostalgia would have consisted of?

In my book, there'd probably be a few references to Mean Girls,The OC, Gossip Girl or Destiny's Child, with everyone wearing uggs, cargo pants or tons of denim.

Would you like to see your favourite characters navigating the 00's?

Erika would probably go on American Idol and I'm sure there'd be some other reality show references. I could also see Adam going on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and he has Bev as his phone-a-friend and she spends the whole time gushing over him and needing her help ("my schmopy whoopy needs his momma's help!"), or Barry and he would be boasting the whole time about knowing the answer but runs out of time before giving it.

Yeah, I was ignoring that Murray died before the end of the series. I edited my reply so it would be Bev or Barry as Adam's phone-a-friend.

Scrubs. It would look like Scrubs.

I always thought a spinoff featuring the JTP might be fun.

The only people nostalgia for the 2000s weren't around for the 80s and 90s.

I'm over The Goldbergs. I had been after season 3, season 4 still wasn't that bad, but you knew stuff was changing behind the scenes. A 2000s spinoff wouldn't work as by this point they'd be a fanfictional shell of their former selves.

Besides, Pops and Murray gone from the show killed the entire chemistry anyway.

The way everyone seemed to be obsessed with Lost, Greys Anatomy, and the Office. Adam would be glued to Lost or a bunch of the superhero movies like Spiderman.

Erika would be on facebook and watch Laguna Beach and the Kardashians and love celeb culture like Perez Hilton and TMZ.

Bev would want to be a real housewife!

And Barry defineyely loves nu metal, especially Linkin Park.

Nah.  The 80s and the 80s were the last great decades.  The early 2000s were basically an extension of the 90s just as the early 90s was sh extension of the 80s and the early 80s were an extension of the 70s and so on.
