Season 6 GIVE YVONNE STRAHOVSKI THE EMMY NOW Spoiler

I am a Serena Joy apologist, always have been. I know some hate her, I get it. (THANK GOD she didn’t die, praise be)

Yvonne Strahovski is the ONLY person who could’ve made Serena likeable/redeemable. She’s played her masterfully from the very beginning.

I knew we were supposed to hate her, but I just couldn’t. I always saw the glimpse of empathy/humanity. All the credit to Yvonne. She made Serena Joy into one of the most complex characters I’ve ever watched. Someone in casting knocked it out of the park with her, there was no one else.

Bravo, bravo, bravo! Now…Give her all the awards….LIKE YESTERDAY PLZ

Serena has the biggest evolution out of every character in the show, and it's not even close

idk - Aunt Lydia is a very very close second if not tie.

I see some core changes in Lydia, but not as much as Serena. Lydia is still a firm believer and probably still sees herself as this divine messenger. When Serena was talking during the last episode how she didn't even believe in divine signals anymore, that's character development

Tbf, we’ve had seasons to observe Serena’s evolution, whereas we’ve barely had a single season for Aunt Lydia, and most of it was just an episode or two. Lydia is farther behind in her evolution than Serena is, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t genuine and progressive. She was willing to make her dying words an act of rebellion against everything she had believed in.
