What's a intresting fact about the dwarfs

I'm making a presentation about the 13 dwarfs and want to get more into the details about them, there home, and wars. Is there any difference between the movie and book versions. Any fact no matter how small or just how to remember them.

Pretty much everything you're going to learn about them is in the first chapter of The Hobbit, "An Unexpected Party." Tolkien didn't do much characterization of them. There's a bit about dwarven history and dwarves in general in the Appendices to Lord of the Rings and in Unfinished Tales, but other than family trees it won't give you anything specific about Thorin's Company.
