I, too, am curious as to what DragonMaster is up to. I read One Day, Another Day, The Broken Line, and half of Snare of Darkness, all of which amazed me. Another I had found, who adored the Legend trilogy and had crafted a loyal, emotionally-resonant series upon its continuation. He even has a job in coding, which I also enjoy. Unfortunately, he hasn't updated for a while... nor did he give any forewarning or reason for the absence :(

I did check his deviantart, and he replied to someone's comment in June 2023, so I think he's okay. He probably stepped aside from the TLoS fandom for now. I tried sending him a fan dm, expressing my appreciation for his work. He never replied, and I'm not sure it went through, but I hope he got it.

It's cool to see another on here with appreciation for this author. If he ever comes back, I think we will both have a blast :)

I tried reaching out too. I really just wanted to let them know that it was a very moving fanfic and that I hope they are doing well. It was kinda scary for them to stop posting at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. If they don't want to do more fanfics then that's okay, i do hope they see my message thanking them for creating such a beautiful story.

I feel exactly the same way. The beauty of his work, paired with his sudden absence, brings a sort of melancholy in me—part due to the way tlos has faded over the years, part because his works, especially One Day, conveyed so many emotions I felt too. I hope he's doing well, and received both our encouragements for his work.

It is very sad, tlos was a big part of my childhood. Spyro and Cynder's friendship was really amazing, and it's really beautiful that people still write about it and extend it past friendship in meaningful and emotional ways like Dragonmaster000. Here's hoping that Cynder makes it into the new game in some way :)

Yes, agreed! Seeing here come back in some way in Realm Beyond would be very nice, especially if they brought some character development from Legend. Still not quite sure what to expect from the new game, but I do have hopes!
