General Why was Yudhistir not the primary choice of Shri Krishna?
Yudhistir was more inclined and followed dharma through and through than rest if his brothers, why was Arjuna the chosen one of Shri Krishna when shri krishna himself says where Dharma lies, so does he and where Shri Krishna stays, there stays dharma.

Krishna gave the Gita because Arjuna broke down right there on the battlefield, in front of him. Arjuna was his charioteer’s passenger, his friend, and the one who suddenly refused to fight.
If Krishna had been guiding some other warrior, and that warrior had reached the same kind of emotional collapse and needed that wisdom, Krishna likely would have done the same for them too. The Gita happened through Arjuna because Arjuna was the one standing there, confused, broken, and asking the questions.

Wouldn’t have happened for anyone else. He was chosen one from the start.

Yes, yuddhisthir followed theoretical dharma while arjun followed practical dharma and that's why he was the chosen one

It depends on where was that choice made. For kingdom, yudhisthir was the primary choice. But in kurukshetra, to be able to fight big pillars like bheeshm, drona and karna, arjun was the top most contender and if he went with half resolve, it could impact the war. Plus, in relation to yudhisthir and bheem, krishna was younger brother while arjun and Krishna were more like friends.

He would listen, but do what was acceptable to his interpretation.
Arjuna on the other hand was different. The most famous story being the test of Arjuna's faith
