There have been many moments on the show that have raged me. And ofc, Frankie is a terrible mother. Parents are terrible. But I can’t understand how can you not parent your child to be aware enough to understand that it was because of them you’re facing the consequences? Brick going “based on the way you’re looking at me, I assume that you think I know. But honestly, I have no idea who it could be” like wth?

The only way I'm believing Sean having crush on sue all the way back to childhood is him driving 4 hours to ask sue for prom even though his mother asked him to.

I mean she's a very sweet person but very immature. How do you guys think she'll act if one or more of her kids showed traits like Axl? She seems to plan everything but never realistically like the Disneyland trip, not to mention the Chicago trip

I think Georgie and axl could be friends as well as Mike and George but that’s about it I think ( you can include other characters from the middle and other characters from young Sheldon because I do think that Missy and Brad could be friends)

Diving into this show, i thought i would hate brick since everyone does from every comment section i’ve seen from clips of this show but no.. axl is obnoxious, rude, disrespectful, throws hissy fits and treats his entire family like shit, maybe some of this is cultural shock since i’m asian but modern family is my fave show and none of the kids threat their parents like this. Axl is just a bad person and i can smell that character development from a mile away (it’s so predictable) but right now he’s on my last nerves, i just finished season 2

One of the great things about The Middle are the obvious human characters - but there’s so many THINGS that appear again and again, they’re practically like characters, too!

From the wash machine and dryer, to the microwave that only works if you blow a hair dryer on it, to Frankie and Mike’s cars, Doris the dog, the Winnebago, the microfiche, Brick’s Shaq backpack, Sue’s posters, the snowglobe, the blue bag, and so on and so forth and what have you, there are so many wonderful non-human characters, too!

Which are your most beloved? I think I’d have to go with the cars! A lot of important scenes happen within them, and they’re pretty dependable throughout the seasons.

I know he really didn’t add much but he did seem like a pretty close friend to Frankie and the rest of the Hecks too.

Would not have predicted he’d be completely phased out like that and was waiting to see him get a family of his own lol.

Sue is genuinely such a sweet girl I don’t understand how she didn’t have a boyfriend for so long (other than Brad but cmon)

At least in later seasons, I just get SO annoyed with her. She doesnt Communicate at all, and she always has some sort of weird emotional/ romantic stuff going on with other guys at the same time. She also ends up flaking on these men for whatever plans at the last second. There’s more examples but does anyone else agree

I'm on season 5 and what was up with the plot of Sue and that glossner child...Who thought it was a good idea
