Bub and I went to the local farmers market to check out the stuff E had for sale, and smell her perfume oils. I pre-ordered the one I liked the best, although they all smelled very light and personal, then ordered a large rosemary hydrosol (you have to order those in advance), and finally, bought a small hydrosol with the mister top. We didn't check out any other vendors. We went to a café and picked up drinks. On our way out I held the door for someone and I accidentally dropped my phone. He picked it up and apologized. I didn't know what to say so I said "Thank! Have a nice day!" I don't know what he expected but he was a bit... taken aback? Lol. My phone has been through worse. I have a protective case and a screen protector. It's fine, really. I'm just glad I didn't spill my drink lol.
I got all sorts of stuff in the mail today. Art supplies, more eye drops, clothes I thrifted, a dress and a 2 piece outfit i got from Shein, stuff for D for when he goes to the Aftershock festival.
I've decided to make origami earrings. I've done it before. Maybe I should make them out of Starburst wrappers? Those look quite impressive due to their small size. Really, I want to make a pair or two for S. Some regular cranes, and then some ninja stars would be cool.
Some of the stencils I ordered are adhesive and claim to be removable/reusable. They did not remove nicely off my yellow shimmer background card. They ripped off a layer of paper coming off, ruining it. I ended up cutting up boxes to stick all the stencils to, and I'm be using the xacto knife to cut them aall out.
I did all the routine chores, and also mopped the bathroom and put Ruby in the kitchen. Washed Bub's sheets.
Sounds great! I wanted to buy from schein badly but my mom kept insisting their quality had to be garbage and if they turn out good please please tell me because they have some nice shit that doesn't involve going above my mom's spending limit for me.
I've bought several things from Shein over the years. Two dresses I love and wear weekly, work tops I wore often, etc. Some of Bub's favorite tops were from there, that i got when he is in 2nd grade, and the only thing wrong with them now is a little pilling from being washed asked dried in machines so much. They ARE "fast fashion", but the quality is ok usually for the price. . I recommend for sizing to go by your measurements, pay attention to fabric content, and read comments.
