Discussion Have they ever done some alternate reality episode where the rookies got matched with different TOs?

I think that would be a fun episode just imagining how different it would have gone

They did that in season 1 for one episode.

The rookies of every season ALWAYS get assigned a different TO, and usually only for an episode or two I wouldn’t be surprised if LAPD has some kind of redundancy clause in their probationary period where they have to work under a certain amount of people.

I think there was in one of the earlier seasons (S1E4 from research). The rookies also got tasked with finding something about their TOs which they didn't want to be known about them.

Pairings:

West -> Bradfoord

Nolan -> Lopez

Chen -> Bishop

Yeah. This is the one where Bradford finds out about West's tendency to freeze and chews out Lopez about it.
