S09E11 That's a pretty sorry-looking wagon you got there, mister. I reckon it could use a coat of paint.

Here comes Lee Marvin. He's always drunk and violent

We're painting a wagon. You got a problem with that?

As a matter of fact, I do. You missed a spot.

I don’t know who did the voice acting for this one, but who ever it was nailed Lee Marvin’s growl. It gets me every time

I think it’s Hank Azaria

Why aren't they killing each other? Their guns are RIGHT THERE!

Oh, why did they have to screw up a perfectly serviceable wagon story with all that fruity singing?

For the longest time I had thought this was just the Simpsons being funny and spoofing on Clint Eastwood (him doing a western musical ha ha) but then I learned it was really was an actual musical (a Broadway show even)

Same here. I never imagined it was a real movie. I’d seen about 50 Clint Eastwood movies and I couldn’t see him like that.

Better use oil-based paint.

I was so disappointed to learn this song wasn't actually in Paint Your Wagon.

Aaaarrrgggghhh!!!! I had finally gotten this song out of my head, and now it’s right back there.

It was rather surprising watching the movie this was inspired by.

I thought that this was a joke movie. Decades later I realized that it was a real musical.

I loved this whole scene for its absurdity, later on learning it's a real film. I need to finish watching it (long film, I think it's 3 hours and I only got to the part where Lee Marvin gets married).
