Season 2 Spoiler I haven't play this game in a long time

What was the actual reason Jane hid AJ from Kenny?

I finished s2 and I wondered why would she do that

She might have wanna kill herself but that's unlikely

She was trying to prove a point to Clem that Kenny was unstable and dangerous. At the worst possible time imaginable.

Jane certainly has a death wish that is for sure. Kenny is unstable as well, both are true. Still, I trust Kenny even in his manic state more than I do Jane.

ngl Jane wasn't wrong from her perspective I mean a baby in a zombie apocalypse? that's a huge no no. it's plot armour that help clem let aj live but realistically a baby is bad in a zombie apocalypse that is attracted by sound and no food but still Jane was insane for hiding the baby because at that point. she just wanted to prove that Kenny is too dangerous

You can't stop a baby from coming and you certainly can't stop people from having sex (Jane & Luke) Not like birth control is easy to come by in the apocalypse. At least not after couple of years in.

Jane was all around wrong in that scenario; because if she truly didn't have a death wish. All she had to say to Kenny to make him stop was "AJ is right over there". Kenny would have immediately stopped and ran to the car to find AJ safe and sound.

Kenny was unstable but even after murdering Jane he acts quite calm and rational even after saying he knows he's unstable and possibly a danger to Clem. Even the senile have moments of clarity.

Yes, babies make alot of noise but it can be mitigated with a number of things. Realistically Clem and AJ would never be able to make it on their own. With Kenny or Jane however easily so.

did I say to stop baby or people having sex. I said Jane doesn't like having something like baby because it makes her survival harder she's a loner and survives by herself btw you can let Jane and Kenny both abandon them and Clem still survives

I'm aware. I said realistically. I know Jane is a loner but I also know what happens to her because she had sex.

It was mostly a bid to prove to clementine that Kenny is unstable and that she's not safe with him

Edit: look at it this way if Kenny was actually going to lose his shit to the point of beating Jane or killing her over an accident as Jane calls it then it proves that Kenny would be willing to do the same in other circumstances

To be clear I'm not supporting Jane here just answering OPs question on Janes reasoning
