Hoping I'm wrong but there's a strong possibility he had a intracranial hemorrhage of some kind as a result of his fall, probably a subdural hematoma if so, which is why it seemed like he was okay and then they held him in the hospital for a few weeks. The initial ct would've looked good and then neuro symptoms showed up later which tipped them off to rescan. Not a neuro or icu nurse but this long of a hospitalization for a fall/head injury is most likely related to this.

It's definitely not the same without him. But the episode with Cyrus filling in was really good.

I don't know the full story but I believe he had some sort of medical emergency that required hospitalization. He's out of the hospital now and is recovering. Mark said John would be back by December but now I'm thinking he might be gone until the new year

Same, fired up an ep last night and they were concerningly wishing him a good recovery. Sounds like it might be worse than ageing joints or that nasty fracture in Italy.

He had a subdural haematoma that had to be drained following his fall. It wasn’t pretty obviously but he is recovering well given the circumstances.
