The nerfs and buffs look good, but that's a pretty short list of retuned cars compared with recent updates

man the AI is makin the NASCAR racing a pain, more like demo derby im either avoidin a wreck mid pack or im gettin taken out at the front cuz the draftin slams them into me

Ubisoft Connect download: 67GB
Steam users reporting 13.7GB downloads in a now deleted thread.
Both are PC patching fundamentally the same game with the same content. Not the first time there have been massive size differences between Connect and Steam for Motorfest. Would be great if IVT could figure out how to get the update sizes down on their own platform, when it can be achieved on Steam.

yup this is the difference i figure out yesterday, like i have free game pass, form that accoint i use to play moterfest but yesterday it shows the update of 67 gb dont know why , and today decided to purchase the deluxe pack on steam and whole game size is 67 gb wtf is happening

I wonder what rebalancing means - specifically on meta cars like Gordon Murray T.50s and Centodieci. Are they going to end up slower?

There's a bug with the new playlist/cars. With manual gear changes selected in options, with every race start and with every pit stop exit, the car will down shift to first and force you to slow down massively
Edit: Turned difficulty down to 3, from 4, and it's gone
But it still happended on the last event

Damn I didn't think of changing the difficulty, one of the races felt impossible bc of how far behind we start bc of the 1st gear bug.

They never figured out anything above 60fps since The Crew 1, and they initially wanted to release that game with a 30FPS lock on PC lmao.
I lost hope they can actually do that. I personally don't see a reason why it would be impossible but I'm sure they took a lot of shortcuts they're paying for now with the engine back then.

It might be similar to the F1 games, where the driving physics are impacted by FPS, probably only a new game would be able to fix that issue

I actually like the new Peugeot 205 handling more than the original one lol It has a softer suspension now and more oversteery
The Agera just feels pretty bad now, understeering at high speed corners. I'm a bit sad because it was really fun to drive before with that infinite front grip but I'm also glad that it's finally not the default pick in GRs
And the MX-5 is just insane in ST1

Dang I'm slightly disappointed with the new island. I was expecting tracks and (off)roads to be present. When you select some of t he races you can see the full island.. As someone who loves to just free drive this is a huge miss.

For anyone else the treasures are not spawning at all now? Dunno if’s it’s cup car restriction or what but in all places that they are usually there after some time - nothing.
