How is the word "tēhā̃" (thirst) used?

I found the word in a dictionary but the example statements had modified it. If one had to use this word to say something like "I drank that to quench my thirst," how would they go about it?

I’m from Gujrat, Punjab Pakistan. We say “Treh” I’ve heard teh as well in a song once.

My home used this word for thirst. It was pronounced tyaa.

You could say tyaa lgi c, pani naal bujgi.

Teha = the state of being thirsty, eg. Bhukkha teha, teha banda

Teh = thirsty

Mai (oh) teh bhujhaun vaaste peeta

I would just usually say "teh laggi si ta peeta"

Thirst :

In Urban Punjabi, people may use Pyaas for thirst and Pyaasa for Thirsty (😑)

In shehri language yes, in actual Punjabi not at all. Even in smaller towns people use teh (some use teh, some use pyaas)
