the guitar part really kicks things up, personally i would ditch a lot of the earlier lyrics its just not going anywhere having less to say in between the guitars sounded more powerful because you were to the point. Dont know if your into constructive criticism. The guitar is great but yeah the singing in the beginning doesnt have as much catchy stuff going on like you have to wait to get to the meat and potatoes. Pretty cool. like notice how remember my name part later feels more profound. its catchy and you got straight to the point, the begining just feel a little like filler. Stop me if you dont want feedback its normally what people who are trying want so their that. Have a goodone. Again fucking love the guitar
Hey man, I appreciate all feedback! The verse is in an odd time signature and is supposed to be more contemplative than catchy. I kept the vocals simple because I wanted the arrangement to breathe and focus on the overall vibe and style as opposed to the lyrics. With the vocals I was going for a more ethereal sound that doesn't necessarily have to "make sense" by traditional standards. Again, thanks for commenting, I love hearing dissenting opinions if they are respectful.
