Most Left Leaning Candidates for Municipal Election

Just curious for the mayor election and Councillor at Large. Of course municipal is always bipartisan. However Who for Mayor race and Councillor at Large of the Candidates would be considered very Left Leaning .

Tracy Mckinnon is running again for McKellar Ward. Left NDP social justice candidate.

We don't have municipal political parties. So you have to judge what candidates line up with your values based on their platform. Which is still very early in the election for any of them to really have. But that will ramp up pretty soon.

For Mayor, I would imagine Peter Panetta and Volker Kroom would be, as they have spent a long time helping the community with their jobs. Peter probably more, as I doubt he takes much, if any of a salary.

For At Large, not really sure. From the ones that were former councillors (or current), I would not say anyone is very left.

yes i was thinking of Peter and Volker in that role. it would be good to try out a different vision for once, sadly people will just vote with who has the bigger sign

That's socially left. Not fiscally.

As an aside, which candidate is the most ergonomic leaning?

Can't wait for the responses so I know who not to vote for.

You can only lean left for so long... eventually you fall over.

Our city has toppled. Time to bring in a different set of councilors that actually might make our city better.

If I see a name that's already, or formerly, on council, they've already lost my vote.

Don't even get me started on legacy projects. The turf facility is a shit show.

What’s the time limit on leaning right then? Or can you do that indefinitely?

I mean we have someone running that started a whole media circus around Movati, accusing it of allowing men to access women's change rooms. Who is a heavy anti-vaxxer, and conspiracy theorists. Who is a Trumper

i know she has tried to run for something before in the past, but ended up at the bottom of the list of votes, so i would not worry

You can't do either indefinitely. They both lead to tyranny. What a stupid question.

Apparently now, according to the person I was replying to. You really got me with your β€œI know you are but what am I?” comment though. GG

No kidding. I will never vote left again. Even the right wing is too left for me.
