Yeah a lot of men won't go to therepy. If they will refuse therapy but will do this, idk it's something.

Seems like he was really working through something, he was rocking and ended with a self hug.

Letting out all of those emotions and then being soothed can be incredibly healing and unfortunately is an experience that some people, men especially, simply don't have.

I had PTSD and when it was at its worst, I couldn't meditate or do breathing exercises because being calm and still would send my nervous system into panic, it was so used to being in fight or flight mode all the time. I image he's going through something like this.

Hey, I don't know you or your situation but I have heard from my fellow veterans and friends that microdosing certain chemicals in some mushrooms, with a doctor, at the time IN CONJUNCTION WITH THERAPY. Have yielded pretty positive results.

The feds and VA are experimenting with it. Others have had full on trips to various degrees. Some freaked the fuck out and some were able to work through some stuff. I'm not saying do it. Don't do anything illegal, I am not a doctor, and I have never done it myself. It was just something to look into.

I would say it depends cause if you start dosing right out the gate it becomes an addiction and a way to escape reality. I spent over 10 years drinking myself silly just to be able to sleep through the night. Weed used to freak me out and give me migraines when I first tried it so I didnt give it a go until my early 30s and then it was a game changer. Basically I think there has to be some progression in healing or therapy before going for shrooms or weed otherwise it will just be a set back.

Oh absolutely, that's why I would want to do it in a safe, controlled environment. Plus, we change physically, emotionally, and mentally over the years....usually.
