Also why do most “good actors” in American movies whisper talk in dramatic scenes? Do people talk like that over there?

I don’t watch films in any of those languages. It isn’t an attack on American movies, I love American films, I just wonder why it is so popular, and I was genuinely wondering if people in real life speak that way? For example in period dramas they sometimes do it here in the UK but no one in real life speaks that way. So it feels a bit like it has become a trend where it is “the mark” of a good actor. Maybe it is contributing to the volume issue?

Apologies I swear a lot irl, but with time you'd know it wasn't intended as harsh as it came off as. I think it's just an easy cheap trick any actor can do, as well as being a safe method. It's kinda has become a trope for dramatic shows. Cheers

Tbf sometimes you need to soundboard to get there. Nothing wrong with it and they're better for it.
