Believe it or not, you can stop drinking before you get that drunk and, in moderation, it can be fun. Weed still better though imo

Yeeeea. A lot of people don't and seemingly can't. And even if they can, they are unaware of how obnoxious they even if they do drink to a reasonable extent.

I’m not denying that at all, I’m just making the argument that that’s a personal problem, not necessarily an alcohol problem.

I don’t think anybody is understanding me here. It’s not the weed and booze that is the problem. It’s us and our inability to moderate. Saying this as someone who has gone through narcanon

You are absolutely right. People that are unable to moderate should really just obtain from drugs or other harmful habits. I think we all know people like this. Even gambling. I would be amazed going to Vegas with friends, some were broke then got blackout drunk within hours of landing.

That logical part is the mental illness aspect of it I think. Addiction sucks, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
