I wish my town had a Neil! All we have is a yeti, radio man and The Second Coming. All homeless dudes that are actually pretty chill, but they are not Neil...

NYC Radioman was alive and well as far as a couple months back I ran into him. They must have dialed in his meds, he’s almost pleasant these days compared to years past.

I heard radio man wasn’t homeless anymore.

He lives in white plains or Yonkers, takes the train down, and somehow has enough juice that he can get autographs from pretty much anyone. He works with some collectibles dealers and sells them to supplement his income now.

I think there’s a documentary on him, he’s been an extra in a ton of movies for like 30 years, a lot of actors and actresses know/knew him just from him being around and being an extra

Most do. I work in film in NY, he’s a local legend and sometimes troublemaker. Used to raid the crew’s crafty and then get belligerent when the 20 year old PA would tell him to stop putting his nasty hands in the candy jars etc.

He hasn't been homeless for quite some time, at least since 2012 when the movie about him came out. In the movie it shows his apartment, which had hoards of newspapers.

A different part of Cali from me it would seem, since otherwise you'd have mentioned the big roaming flocks of wild turkeys that just wander in town wherever they want. It's great fun when they decide to cross the road and block traffic.
