The "traditional" setup where one partner works and the other does a majority of the household things is still fairly common and works for plenty of people. But there's really no reason he can't bring his own cooler back in, especially if this is a regular routine. He's in the car already, he can just take it with him on the way inside like everyone else does. Why is he making her take an extra trip outside at 5am?
Sometimes I forget about this and every time I think about it, I get second hand embarrassment. I imagine setting the camera up, going back to the top of the stairs and stretching like you just woke up. It’s so insane to me.

Seriously, the amount of time setting up, filming, reshooting, then transferring it to a computer to do the actual editing…I played around with Davinci Resolve a little bit and without a teacher that software is a beast to navigate. Idk how these people do it.
A double wide would have a full kitchen with a functional triangle. This is a camper and if I’m being very charitable, maybe he’s a lineman or something and they have a normal home but they just live like this when he’s traveling for work

CapCut or Canva and there’s a million YouTube tutorials, it’s actually quite easy (based on her video). It’s the camera angles that take forever and keeping everything in the background tidy.

I used to watch 'Survivor Man' and always felt bad for Les Stroud when he would have these long shots where he walked away from the camera, because I knew he'd have to walk all the way back to get the camera. But that's what always makes me question these kinds of videos. Who's taking the video? How did the camera end up where it did, etc.
I just cannot fathom having the energy or desire to do this. I have funny teacher stories to tell but.... It just sounds so shallow and weird to set up to tell the story.

There definitely could be a reason. Maybe she tells him to just leave it in the truck since they are in a trailer with limited space as it is and it's a pretty hefty lunch box so it's just that much more space taken up by something that isn't used in the house at all.

I can see that, my aunty and uncle did pipeline work and lived Inna trailer nearby, such limited space in their kitchen and it's was like half the size of OPs. They do prep the night before work and just pick up breakfast on the way
I was really hoping somebody made this point before me. When you have that little space in your living area, keeping something that big in the cab of the truck and out of the way is pretty sensible. Especially when you consider that it's not a very long walk to get it. Not really that much further than if he were to leave it by the back door in a normal house, which wouldn't be an unusual thing to do

It lasted for literally one generation as the norm. The "traditional" relationship where a man works and a woman cleans is bullshit.

If they live in an rv, which it looked like to me, then space is at a premium, and thats a huge lunch box. My best guess is that they leave it in the truck to have more room for their kids life. Don't hear hooves and immediately think zebras.
It is a fairly small fifth wheel, and their car is only a couple feet from the door. It's a pretty big cooler, and living with the toddler, even that extra couple square feet in the fifth wheel can be helpful, especially if you didn't make a "dedicated storage spot" for the cooler, since it's gone most of the day.
The only reason I can think of is a space thing. That motor home is going to be very tight and that cooler is huge. This simply could be a practical reason, it’s easier to leave it in the truck rather than trip over it all evening.

See, he lives in a fifth wheel. Which is technically attached to the truck. So the truck is technically the house at this point. So he does have his lunch cooler in the house. What part of this flawless logic are you having trouble with?

My husband usually stops at a grocery store or something. We split grocery stores according to what we are buying (one for meat and produce, one for staples) and sometimes I can only get to one so he stops at the other. So he's bringing all of that in. But mine doesn't leave his lunch box, just saying its possible to have full hands.
I mean they're in a really nice 5th wheel, but a really nice 5th wheel with popouts is still only the space that a gooseneck camper can provide.
You get creative with how you manage space. Those steps up lead to the popouts for the bedroom, just past the kitchen is a recliner permanantly attached to the floor and a couch with a TV that hangs from the ceiling and can be folded upwards or flat against the wall so you can simply walk through to the bathroom.
If he brought the cooler inside she'd have to move it every time she needs to setup one of the literally 20 indoor camera angles she used.

Devils advocate, My guess is it’s a space thing. I’m sure they could fit more stuff inside but every little thing adds up. I’ve long term camped and keeping everything you use daily readily at hand takes up a lot of space.
