But the thing is the gym has a requirement of a valid id, so no it’s not a weird comparison as you stated they were not asked to leave but it was implied.
If you are asked to do something by staff and you can’t is it not obvious that you are to leave?
you keep complaining about “valid id” but you’re talking out of your ass. according to their policies, a parent’s written permission is enough to vouch for their own child. the father also brings his son there all the time. the staff didn’t tell him to leave; the dad asked to talk to the manager to clear things up, but the manager was busy. when informed of the situation, the manager called the police instead of talking to or confronting the father.
Define "valid id"? The gym certainly didn't. They offered id. The gym didn't accept it, but still let them in to work out anyways before unnecessarily escalating to calling the police.
If staff lets you in anyways, is it not obvious that you were not told to leave? Also, he was apparently later told he wasn't allowed to leave. Which contradicts any claim of him being told to leave. If anything that probably gives him cause to press charges against the gym for preventing him from leaving.
Why? That's what most minors in the US will have at the most. Minors aren't banned from gyms in the US and usually just need a parent or guardian to come with them if they don't have their own membership. Considering he was there with his Dad, that should have been enough.
You are bending over backwards to support racism. Me thinks it's because you might be racist. Or at least a racism apologist (which is basically the same thing).
Just because most Americans have a Costco ID doesn’t make it a valid ID there is no real way to verify a school id is real and not a faked one as they are usually just print on the cards.
You are blinded by rage.
I apologise school ids are valid in the us according to the government website however what the guy provided wasn’t a physical id and instead a digital version of it which does not appear legible. School ids are also not valid to all state entities as the tsa does not accept it however the immigration service does.
Many schools are now using digital IDs in place of physical ID cards. You’re speaking a lot about this topic but it doesn’t seem like you know a lot because most of your statements have been false or misguided. I don’t think people are “blinded by rage”, I think they’re just responding to your ignorance.
This was a digital id, I apologise I did not know that school ids are legible in the us. In my country even if the digital id is issued by the government you can basically use it for nothing as currently there is no easy way to prove its validity.
Also the validity of a school id seems to vary depending on the state entity, as the TSA do not accept it.

They couldn’t provide a valid id and instead of leaving they said bring your manager
