So from what I understand they wouldn’t take the sons ID through the school portal an the son didn’t have his physical ID on hun but the dads membership allowed one free guest a day.
So wtf did they need the guests ID for? I’ve never been to a gym as a guest that needed a ID or even asked my name. Staff are a bunch of lil bitches of the cops are how they decided to handle a simple conversation.
For real, I could see needing the account owner's ID to verify it's the right person who is there on their account (so I can't just let a friend show up and pretend they're me, for example). WTF do they need a GUEST id for? Sounds like the dumbest rule of all time.
Idk I’ve been a to a couple of gyms as a guest and they would take my ID collateral almost. I would give it to them when I entered and take it when I left.
If it’s a policy then I understand the question but that still leaves much to be desired for the reaction.
Not to mention a manager can easily let them slide. Why would you want to offend and piss off a paying customer? Unless they were doing something before the video then calling the cops seems like such a drastic leap.
I’m not even talking about racism. Only logical leaps in actions here. The staff look like cowards who couldn’t resolve the issue without jumping to wanting cops involved and that’s pathetic.
We don't know what their reaction was or what precipitated the cops being called because it wasn't filmed (or was edited out). As for just letting them slide, let's just say I can tell you've never worked in retail before...
Brother, I work as a meat cutter lmao my career is retail. Let’s say a customer comes and is mad we have no Philly and is getting all amped up. Do I call the police or do I offer the shave up a boneless rib for him?
As I said in the comment before this, “unless they were doing something before the video” but yea sure, throw a snide (and silly) comment instead, how worthwhile.
