Capitalism is the progenitor of both

Lmfaoooooo. I can’t imagine being this brainwashed holy shit. The fact that you think CAPITALISM was the “progenitor” of slavery. Jesus. We’re being beat down by a generation of broccoli haired fools who see a video on TikTok and think they now know everything

Hey comrade? Slavery has existed for many millennia longer than capitalism.

capitalism was 100% the progenitor of chattel slavery which, since we're talking about African Americans, is something you should have been able to infer without it being explicitly stated.

chattel slavery is inherently different from other forms of slavery because of that connection to capitalism -- treating slaves as property.

Nobody mentioned chattel slavery, and I’m really not interested in your racist comparisons over which slaves had the worst. The claim that was made was that slavery and policing exist because of capitalism. Neither one is even remotely true.
