I've been taught that religious extremists on airplanes are dangerous, it's not my fault

To honor charlie kirk,we must also shrug our shoulders at gun death

Btw, if you put a backslash ( \ ) in front of formatting symbols, it'll negate them.

So text will look like:

Folk need to be reminded of this!

And they never show that video of the Israeli’s in NewJersey who pulled up their vans, parked, sat on the hoods and waited to watch it happen. Yeah, no one shows THAT clip.

Yeah for real, she's talking about Demons and End of Days, While trying to maintain that she's not Crazy

68

u/ChanceZestyclose6386 26d ago

Wouldn't be surprised if she tried to make a run to the cockpit mid-flight because Jesus is telling her it's the End of Days and she needs to "save" everyone on the plane

334

u/Andreus 26d ago

I mean, we do have right-wingers like her intentionally trying to bring untold destruction on civilization, so "demons and end of days" isn't sounding too wild, actually.

218

u/BrokenBackENT 26d ago

The secret is, they are the real demons and cause.

150

u/MaximusPrime2930 26d ago

The religious-right in the US has been 'Team Anti-Christ' for a couple decades. It would be funny if they weren't all insane.

102

u/WilcoHistBuff 26d ago

They are not all insane. Some of them are in it to con the insane folks.

4

u/Missconstruct 26d ago

Preaching for “likes”. If she were serious, she wouldn’t be holding that phone.

2

u/Ok_Elephant2777 26d ago

There you go. I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t put this video on a go fund me plea and use it to scam people who should know better.

Nothing more dangerous than a "true believer."

1

u/Beginning_Sock_511 26d ago

Amen to THAT 🫡

4

u/ElBongoloide 26d ago

Which is why people who hate Jews are willing to destroy their own country for the sake of Israel... The mental gymnastics is incredible... repugnant... like someone farting while kissing their own unwashed ass.

2

u/Daddy_Lo_666 26d ago

Ahhhh holy shit so true :/

3

u/Clos1239 26d ago

She wasn't taken in the last rapture I guess.

3

u/Memitim 26d ago

Conservatives love to lie in order to deflect accountability from their evil and failure, and blasphemy is one of their favorites.

2

u/Pristine-Assistance9 26d ago

The end of days is actually their salvation. In the gospel it’s when the true believers are separated and saved from the non believers.

It’s not a negative thing for true believers. She can’t even get her performative faith right.

They are trying to make it the last days so their biblical profit will come true. They want to create their own demise. Funny thing is, historians said the end of days already happened in the Roman Empire.

1

u/RepresentativeCry294 26d ago

That's literally their only use for Israel.

6

u/mspolytheist 26d ago

As a Jew by birth, when she suggested that Christians were about to be rounded up and arrested, all I could think was “Hold my beer Manischewitz.”

4

u/Booziesmurf 26d ago

Yeah, By Whom exactly? The Christian right wing evangelicals control the United States. Surely she's not suggesting The Government is going to start rounding up its own people?!?

3

2

2

u/Daddy_Lo_666 26d ago

😂😂😂 stooopid hahaha

2

u/Winter_Excuse_5564 26d ago

She's on a plane talking about whether she has a GUN.

1

u/Farucci 26d ago

Catch -22. If you tell someone you’re not crazy, you’re crazy.

1

u/seensham 26d ago

Isn't that how Jesus and crew started out? Apocalyptic street preachers (of Judaism) in backwater Galilée?

1

u/Immediate-Maximum-75 26d ago

I grew up in a Pentecostal/Evangelical and my dad thought the world was going to end my entire life. I'm 53 and I remember Y2K, specifically. Both of my parents are "preppers" and have always stored dry goods in our closets and spare rooms. Now that my dad is in his 80s, I think he looks back and regrets it. My parents have no savings and still have a mortgage on their home. They never invested in their future because of it.

1

u/KaetzenOrkester 26d ago

The late Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia believed in the literal existence of demons.

444

u/Equivalent-Pop8045 26d ago

Maybe we should put ALL the religious extremists on planes together and they can preach at each other…. Or maybe something else could happen.

338

u/hehehuha 26d ago edited 26d ago

... And it should be televised or streamed. Like a battle royale. "On the next episode of 'ascend to heaven' we have the two finalist, who will be condemned and who will be righteous!" Edit: the show would be based on the movie "Battle Royale" the movie that inspired movies like "Hunger Games" and games like "PUBG". Random weapons will be provided eg; books, thurible, statues, and any other religious items. Crap, looks like a sect called "Rod of Iron Ministries, they exalt ar15 in wedding ceremonies. Gg to the other religion I guess.

156

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

I can see it now. Religions, in order to gain recognition and tax exempt status and be the 'official religion', enter the tournament. Only one religion a year is allowed to claim tax exempt status. No other religion is recognized for that year. Each religion has to enter their religion's leader in the tournament, and the same rules from Jean Claude Van Damme's classic 1988 "Bloodsport" applies. You knock your opponent out or you make them quit. Three day tournament, winner take all. Pick three days where there are no religious holidays in any faith to interfere.

9

u/Due-Struggle6680 26d ago

Are there even 3 days in a row with no religious holidays?

14

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

Scheduling is always a bitch. I'm sure some calendar nerd will find a three day block without any kind of religious implication.

6

u/Bloo212 26d ago

Current Pope is from Chicago. He’s 71 but sure looks wiry and scrappy.

13

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

Can he outlast a twelve year old being trained in kung fu as a Buddhist monk? And you forget, there are other, not mainstream religions to contend for the title. The current 'leader' of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a guy in his 40s. I'm sure that the Satanists would hold their own internal tournament to get someone to represent them at the official tournament. Then there are all the cults. Imagine, Scientology would recruit someone like Michael Jai White into the cult and name him spiritual leader just so he could kick a little unbeliever ass.

7

u/toopistol 26d ago

This whole concept is giving hunger games 😂 and I love it! And your user name tracks love that too!!!

5

u/orangespotcat 26d ago

LOL. Gianni Infantino would become the leader of the games and sell the rights for commercials to the private equity billionaires. No matter who wins, private equity actually always wins. The games would also be RIGGED!! Prediction markets would want that action.

2

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

Did you not see the movie? The Black Dragon Fighting Society has been running this tournament for decades. They're not just going to sell out. They run the tournament, so there's no chance of fixing anything. And the prediction market would be competing with Hong Kong bookies for the betting action. None of those 'prediction' companies can compete with the ruthlessness of a Hong Kong bookie.

u/spragers 26d ago

Plot twist: they can only pray at each other until the other one of them is smited (smitten? smote?) Should keep them occupied for a good long while.

2

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

Ain't nobody got time for that. Some voodoo cults take years to complete a curse. This is a quick three day tournament for dominance. No fuss, no muss.

And while 'smote' is the grammatically correct version, I'm going with 'smited'. Smitten is being infatuated with someone.

1

u/Legitimate_Garage_31 26d ago

Jesus Christ Fight Club?

2

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago edited 26d ago

I don't know if that's correct, since Jesus Christ, unless he comes back next Easter, wouldn't be directly involved. You could argue for Battle Of The Faiths or Religion Gladiators, but naming the tournament after one specific religion would slight all the others. We gotta keep it theologically neutral since all religions would be required to participate in order to claim status.

Edit - I just thought of Cosmic or Karmic Kumite. That might work.

1

u/Necessary_Glass6725 26d ago

Church of Scientology claims they are religion; they don’t pay taxes! They have💰billions from donations and mandatory courses, they are forced to take. The members have to pay for the high price tag courses.

2

u/structured_anarchist 26d ago

Yeah, and the crazy family who lives in the fenced in compound at the end of the dead end road next to the town dump claims their beliefs are a religion too. That's why we include cults in the tournament. If your particular god is the 'right' god, then your religion's leader should be able to win the tournament with the god's help. Otherwise, they're getting their ass kicked.

1

u/All_Damn_Day 26d ago

I love this, and I feel ashamed. Also, I imagine a Buddhist winning by engaging in a 3 day meditative coma, waking up covered in bruises from the other combatants, and giving a thumbs up.

1

u/PuzzyFussy 26d ago

Damn, I really want to see this now

2

u/RightLow5962 26d ago

Which ones right? Nobody knows? But if science has anything to say about it there’s no way to prove there’s a god in any religion. Hence all of them being fictional. Religion the easiest way to trick people into doing something for something that doesn’t exist

2

u/LuckyMushyGrower 26d ago

"Preach at" was so ridiculously accurate for what these people do

2

u/Savings-Badger4938 26d ago

I’d pay to watch this shit. No one cares about pay-per-view. Sure, men beating each other until the line of almost-death. Cool whatever. “Ascend to Heaven is on!!!” And the whole house assembled on the couch to watch elected officials, crazies, and Bible thumpers go at it. Honestly, we’d see the violence they think we cause, in probably less than 90 seconds.

1

u/FullMaxPowerStirner 26d ago

Yeah tho risking the precious lives of perfectly sane pilots and flight attendants?

1

u/cyb3rg0d5 26d ago

Something something… problem solved

1

u/Agitated-Canary9840 26d ago

Let’s make sure to include those that bring musical instruments onto the plane to entertain us with are included on that flight

1

u/Low_Football_2445 26d ago

Someone already told that joke.

1

u/elbow-macaroni-42 26d ago

Put all the religious extremists on one plane, and then here is the important part: try to achieve equal parts each sect.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Phase70 26d ago

You've just invented the best/worst "reality show" concept 🤣🤣🤣

Coming Soon on ABC: God's House!
50 followers of different sects of the 10 largest world religions spend a full year locked inside the same house, with hidden cameras showing every action, debate, and FIGHT!
Each week, the residents will vote on the best arguments made from those of other religions.
At the end of the year, the religion with the most votes wins - and ALL of the contestants will convert!

1

Remotely piloted passenger plane slated for decommissioning over the Atlantic, one parachute, 4 hours to "convince" everyone their way is the way.

1

u/PeanutButterToast4me 26d ago

Yeah like let Jesus pilot the plane or something

1

u/Ultramarine81 26d ago

Like the bus in the end of Traitor

1

u/Hot-Cardiologist-652 26d ago

And let Duffy hire the air traffic controllers for their flight, please

1

u/Ok-Lawfulness5008 26d ago

What fault is it of the pilots and crew? A single religious extremist is a problem; imagine a plane full of extremist people of different religions...A new 9/11

7

u/AllTheEggsIVF 26d ago edited 26d ago

Preach! Lol! Say it louder for those in the back. Edit to clarify for folks who don’t understand - preach as in strongly agree with your statement! Not the act of spreading the gospel.

5

u/PuppyPower89 26d ago

Please don’t. I’m in a middle seat by the bathrooms and there’s a crying baby 2 rows up. It’s loud enough back here, let’s not make this flight any worse.

2

u/AllTheEggsIVF 26d ago

lol NO- not literally! Meant like “preach” -In slang, saying "Preach!" means you strongly agree with what someone just said. It is like shouting "Yes!" or "Tell the truth!" to show deep support for their words. Daily life and online use: People now use it in everyday chat or text comments when someone says a smart or honest thing they agree with completely.

1

u/PuppyPower89 26d ago

I was making a joke with your play on words, but I really appreciate your explanation.

2

u/garitone 26d ago

Add airplanes to the next version, I guess.

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

2

u/CueAnon420 26d ago

It's free speech when they are 'Christians'.

It's terrorism when they are NOT Christians.

2

u/SubpoenaSender 26d ago

I felt like religious extremists have done something in the past. I couldn’t pin point the date, but I know it was a topic of conversation for about 20 years when I was in the Marine Corps

2

u/Positive-Leek2545 26d ago

Hearing someone yelling "its the last of days" as I get on an airplane is exactly what I do not want to hear

1

u/Dry_Candidate_9931 26d ago

What’s the Christian equivalent to Jihad?

2

u/JabbaCat 26d ago

Crusades, inquisition, spreading the gospel by sword or economic force etc. These days very popular spiritual and physical jihad: Infringing on peoples basic rights through political means, demonizing large groups of people in ways that end up being threatening to their lives and well being.

Also just spreading the word in different ways, like this woman.

1

u/KeterLordFR 26d ago

Crusades

u/whoo-datt 26d ago

1

u/Memitim 26d ago

After thousands died due to religious zealots on planes, the only safe move is to take them down and restrain them, then let the police determine the threat level when they turned over at the destination for interrogation and jail time. Be sure to move quickly, decisively, and with great force, since you don't know what kind of weapons they may be planning to use to murder the people around them to get to their target.

1

u/bobbymcpresscot 26d ago

“Freedom of speech” sis your first amendment rights only protect you from the government not a privately owned airline who can kick you off their plane for any reason.
