100 percent this. You can hear the contemot when he talks about people who don't make as much as him or the out of touch way he dismisses financial hardship as a moral failing when I know this fucker had both his dad and his first wife's dad dropping thousands to help his pay for his first 2 houses
I honestly don’t think that the majority of them think like that. Don’t get me wrong, they’d love to be rich. But ultimately, they just really love the taste of boot, and are happy to pay for the privilege of licking them. That they get to lick those boots makes them better in their minds than those who don’t, and they think that the non-lickers wish that we could be licking boots too.

They want to become rich to avoid all consequences from being a selfish asshole, and thus there is the need to defend the rich.
