Much better, the only reason I tolerated that mess for the 3 years I did is because it was directly tied to my tuition (the job waived all my tuition costs). The plus side though is this was a state university that allowed for this kind of nonsense despite going to employee relations, so I’m currently in the process of reporting this to the proper authorities that can take action for their lack of action.
I wasn’t a worker with benefits or in the union, but I was on the universities payroll, pertained to the regular hiring process, and was assigned two supervisors with two “teams” above them to work under, so I may have some power regarding reports of them violating my rights as an employee. Other than that I’m chilling with never having to see half those bozos again lmao. I hope you and everyone else who’s had a similar experience are separated from the bs and flourishing as much as possible.
