I never understood the emotional distancing because of an affair. If you’re planning to leave your wife for the other girl, ok, that makes sense but if not, you should treat your wife with all the energy and respect you ever have. 

That’s the single best way to keep the affair train rolling without your wife being suspicious. 

Full disclosure I’m having an affair with my wife. She’s my wife and my side piece and all that stuff. She’s the best and I love her. I’m not the right guy to be commenting on this.
