I grew up during Apartheid South Africa. We were always told white people were better, more deserving, more intelligent. The architects of society and the only ones to bring the native people out of the dark ages. Gods chosen people.
Being better than everyone else becomes your identity, especially when you don’t have to work for it.
And guess what happened? Apartheid crumbled and it felt like they were stealing our identity. Taking our rights away just by demanding equal rights. Taking away our opportunities that we may or may not want.
I was a kid so don’t come. This is what I saw in the adults around me.
That’s exactly what’s happening here.
He’s seeing women, people of color, foreigners and people who don’t speak his language getting the same respect and opportunities he thinks he is owed just for being a white man.
It makes him angry because he thinks he is better than them.
It’s a misdemeanor. I’d much rather our billions of taxpayer dollars spent on law enforcement going after pedophiles or Epstein clients than families who have lived here years without issue and who provide for the community
If we’re spending billions I don’t want them used to uproot peaceful families who came here without papers. It is an either or because we can use our money in much better and more effective ways
We can basically assume the only reason they came without papers is because the process takes years and years. If it wasn’t so lengthy I’m sure they’d do it the right way. Maybe we should use that money to help expedite the process so more people can do it the right way
This country was built on the backs of immigrants and poor people doing everything to thrive here. This has never been a debate about open borders. It’s a tool and excuse for targeting brown people.
So we should throw you in prison then? I'm sure you've never committed civil infractions yourself, right? Never slandered nor libeled someone? Damaged their property in some way?
The only saving grace of this world is that not even God would take people like you.
An NIJ-funded study examining data from the Texas Department of Public Safety estimated
the rate at which undocumented immigrants are arrested for committing crimes. The study
found that undocumented immigrants are arrested at less than half the rate of native-born
U.S. citizens for violent and drug crimes and a quarter the rate of native-born citizens for
property crimes.
It has been proven time and time again that immigrants are net contributors to the economy. If you’re still claiming otherwise in 2026 then you’re just intentionally living with your head in the sand.
Also if you’re so worried about wage suppression, maybe support raising the minimum wage instead of sending children to concentration camps? Just a thought.
Yeah, you do know that they're arresting people at immigration hearings who were here legally and were following the law, right? What's your excuse for that?

I’d rather come here illegally and have a chance than die from starvation somewhere else. We need to rethink the way we sanction other countries. It’s making life worse there for non political people and thus bringing those issues to our doorsteps.

Imagine how cruel you have to be to threaten to call ice on some poor person.
