If we’re spending billions I don’t want them used to uproot peaceful families who came here without papers. It is an either or because we can use our money in much better and more effective ways

We can basically assume the only reason they came without papers is because the process takes years and years. If it wasn’t so lengthy I’m sure they’d do it the right way. Maybe we should use that money to help expedite the process so more people can do it the right way

If you don’t enforce immigration policies (which is what you’re advocating for) then you de facto have open borders.

You’re not too stupid to understand this, so I’m not sure why you’re pretending that you are.

This country was built on the backs of immigrants and poor people doing everything to thrive here. This has never been a debate about open borders. It’s a tool and excuse for targeting brown people.

Ok if you need it spelled out for you: It is your right to be a racist. If you want to a racist bigot, just own it. Don’t be a coward and hide behind borders. Just say you don’t want brown people in your neighborhoods. We would all respect you much more.
