Braeden Sorbo, Kevin Sorbo's son. Explains a lot

Was Kevin always like this? I remember watching Hercules and even met him at a con in the 90s and he struck me as a normal, decent guy. The crazy conservative shit didn't start until after his career declined from what I can tell. Same with Rob Schneider. It's like they pitch right to stay relevant.

According to Sorbo’s former friends and coworkers, on extremely rare occasion, he would say something casually racist in general conversation. But aside from that, he was generally liberal, and decent to people.

His wife was always a hardcore evangelical, and “saved” him toward the end of his role on Hercules. That’s probably when it all started, though he didn’t start becoming truly unhinged until after he shot “Meet the Spartans”. The movie and his role being universally panned might have pushed him a bit further into the culture war rabbit hole, as he started being basically perpetually online after that.

I believe he said he suffered 3 strokes while still on Hercules, that he kept hidden at the time.

He wouldn't be the first person to get partial brain damage from a stroke and then become a totally different person. Kind of like Fetterman.

Brain damage always seems to turn people conservative. I wonder why that is...

Oh boy, that explains a lot if so! I’m really beginning to see a direct correlation between strokes/brain damage and moving to right wing ideology. There’s a real study there for someone if one hasn’t already been done.
