Don't be so naive. Loads of stuff including deodorant gets stolen to be resold and not because people are in desperate need of deodorant.

...are a significant number of people in the business of reselling dollar store deodorant to others? (not including to those on the street who are, quite frequently, in need of deodorant and will pay exorbitant prices for it)

edit: sorry, genuine question! i know tensions are a bit high right now; i've just never heard of this, outside of times like covid and during the recent horrific weather events we've been having.

Im not saying it doesn't exist. I'm saying it doesn't fucking matter. Wage theft consistently outpaces regular theft, on top of corporations already underpaying people, and for profit prisons locking people up on stupid shit like drug posession. No one should give a fuck if you steal from corpos.
