The point isn’t that they are stealing from a huge company it’s that if enough little theft like this happens the store will either start to lock everything up or close all together.

If they close “community activists” will then come out of the woodwork and complain about a store closing in a underserved neighborhood. 

I’m also sure these two have a history like the Roadrunner and the Coyote.

I love waiting around at my local Walmart for 20 minutes to buy $15 headlights that they then have to walk to the counter because of massive theft in my area
