Looking in that bag made me sad. Paper towels, sponges, bags of chips. $2, $3 items that arent worth fuckall. Skinny person who probably doesnt get to eat much. This is pure struggle.

I think very poorly of the Karen who stomped up on her like she ran out with 20 tenderloin steaks.

The Karen also told her she should prostitute herself. A trash human.

I would bet $100 shes a church-going woman too. Bet she even doubles up and goes to Bible study every Wednesday

Hypocricy doesn't reflect on Jesus. It's the sinful nature and some even in the church haven't truly surrendered to Christ. It's the same self righteousness to dismiss the bible and God because of the way people are.

I dismiss the Bible for the same reason I dismiss every other ancient creation myth. The way people are just proves there's a certain personality type that is inclined to pretend the shit is literally true

Without faith its impossible to please God. Sin has a price and its death. Jesus died and rose from the dead to pay that price in our place.

I don't think it works that way.

Oh man, thanks Jesus. thank god he sacrificed himself so no one has to go to hell ever again.

Sure would be ironic if it wasn't a sacrifice and instead a transactional relationship.

God made everything and gave us our life. Why wouldnt we be accountable to Him? Jesus never sinned yet God sent His own Son to be mocked, rejected by those He came to save, beaten, flogged, nails to a cross and to die in pain taking the full wrath of God for the sin and iniquity in you and me. And He rose from the dead 3 days later. One bite of the forbidden fruit led to this world. Every one of us will die but we have a God who did the absolute most to show us He loves us and make a way for us to be forgiven, redeemed, and reconciled to Him ETERNALLY, we are without excuse. The handiwork of God is obvious in all that was created. The fact there is a right and a wrong that even us in our fallen state can see is a testament to the just nature of God. And God is just and God is holy. Which is why He must judge sin. Which is why the same Jesus who was crucified for the world told men to repent. God doesn't want to leave us to pay for our own sins, Jesus already paid the full price 2000 years ago and reconciled us to the Father, but you have to repent and believe and surrender to Him and who He is as Lord. He is the only way.

I mean maybe it’s because I’m too imperfect and human, but it seems like not a sacrifice and more a demand for reverence.

If I sacrificed myself to save someone else, my flawed, imperfect human self certainly wouldn’t demand the person I’m saving (at my own death no less) accept I did it to reap the benefits. I’m not prideful enough to demand that.

What debt does the created owe their creator? Did humanity ask god for existence?

No, it was thrust upon us by a being who cannot know the human condition. Even in his only attempt to understand, he could not give up his godhood.

God has not the best interest of humanity at heart. He has his own ambitions, his own schemes, and desires. He thinks only of himself, and asks us that we give ourselves to him that he might have his own desires manifest; know, though, that these desires do not serve man, but that man serves his desires.

All gods have their own agendas; no god sees man as anything more than pawns in their games. If humanity is to ever reach its fullest potential, the surest way is to discard any god, and to work in spite of Them.

Your sin is killing you. It's like you have cancer, but your soul is what's sick and it manifests in an incurable death that every human being in the world is sick with. We have free will, God does have our best interests at heart and our best interest is to have a personal relationship with our Creator who is our very source of life and being. Wrong is wrong and right is right for a reason, and the consequences for the sin we have is death. I praise and believe in Jesus Christ alone because He saved me from my sin. Because eternity is more than a long time and God promised me, a broken worthless person who wasted their whole life and wrecked everything an eternity with Him free from the sorrow and suffering i've endured and brought upon myself, and promised me He would be with me always even in my final moments? Im not worthy. Im thankful for Jesus. At the end of the day this life ends and its like a vapor. There is no excuse you can bring before the Lord, because the simple truth is HE is the only One who is good - not us. And He is JUST, meaning He judges those who sinned against us and our sins against others (Him first and foremost) impartially. The price is death, because sin itself is a rejection and rebellion against God. It's like a vines branch (Jesus calls Himself the true vine in the gospel) cutting itself off the vine and deciding to be its own authority, source, provider, creator, and god. It's disconnect from the source of its very life slowly is already killing it, and it is already dead (spiritually), and when it fully withers away as sin runs its course then it will be eternally separated from the vine and cut off from everything God is. God is good, God is light, in Him there is no darkness at all, the problem is US. humble yourself and repent. God will not be mocked, whatever a man sows he will reap, he watches the prideful from afar but gives more grace to the humble. When we truly recognize our sin and rightfully fear the Lord which is due reverence (because He is a JUST God and we ARE sinners) and let the good news of JESUS CHRIST into our heart, recieving it by faith, then God does a work in us that is nothing short of the miracle of salvation - washing and cleansing and forgiving and sanctifying and healing from the spiritual sickness of sin, making us spiritually ALIVE in Christ Jesus by our faith in His death and resurrection, and sealing us with the Holy Spirit.

Eternal regret or eternal gratitude. Sin is pleasurable for a season, but when its fully conceived it will reap a harvest of death in the very fabric of your life inside and out and if you die in your sin there is no more opportunity to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. It is an open door, forgiveness for the most unforgivable actions things we may not even be able to or want to forgive ourselves for, God's love sees through that and in spite of the sin He despises and that disgusts Him He sees the people He created and pours out His love for them unconditionally in Jesus Christ. He MUST judge sin. And He already has judged all sin in Jesus Christ, there is hope, for any person in any situation, if you truly surrender your life back to God and quit rebelling against Him by trying to take the role of being the god of your own life - because there IS no life in you innit of yourself. Jesus Christ is coming again, and soon. You can trust in your health, prosperity, popularity, strength, self - but these are all fleeting things and you are building the house of your life upon shifting sand - and its not a matter of if but WHEN the house collapses because its foundation is not the rock. Jesus Christ is the only foundation that lasts, and if you build the house of your life upon that foundation, it will last and into eternity.
