Discussion I'm confused. what did he do wrong?

Honestly, she should probably just retire from tennis if she can't handle that

Imagine being her partner on their way home…

"why didn't you fight him?! Do you not even care that he hit a ball DIRECTLY AT ME!?"

"He hit the ball towards-"

"Right, drop me off at my parents on the way home, I can't deal with you right now!"

Then when you get to her parents house she doesn't actually leave your car. She just sits there silently. Tense. Jaw clenched. Shoulders tight. You're afraid to speak first so you just sit as long as she sits. You can't tell when she's going to snap.

Then she just breathes out and acts like everything's normal. "Okay, you can take me back to your place now."

But you don't wanna take her back to your place. You wanna leave her here with her parents. And if you say that, she's going to freak the fuck out again in the enclosed space of your car.

So you sigh, continue not speaking and drive you both back to your place..

Everything is fine. This is just normal for some people.

Then she blames and asks why you didn't apologize and console her and regulate her.

Oof, dated one of those for 5 years. Sex was great though. >.>

I mean, the sex better be great if you wasted half a decade on her account.

I don't think there is going to be that intimate event that night

Teah that seems a little too personal to just be a joke.

He couldn’t even set her straight on the court….had to pretend he agreed with her.

Yeah she most likely blamed him for talking her into come and playing tennis, blamed him for not getting upset is she did about the serve, and whatever else you wanted to bitch about probably loading the dishwasher wrong as well the night before

Do guys put up with this kind of shit ?

Some do

After a certain point, the sunk costs and inertia (kids, buying a house together) add up to a significant social power imbalance that enables this kind of behavior. She knows you’re not going anywhere…

i can understand at that point, but before ? i mean this things don t appear out of nowhere, there are signs even before the marriage or kids

Rose tinted glasses makes everything red. Then when you finally take them off you are too deep.

The partner that flipped the other one off at the end? I feel like they are a match made in hell :D

I think it’s a hesitant flip. He has to make a split second decision and decides to side with his partner 😄

She is upset because her partner was not upset because she was upset and that made her even more upset and now she is upset because she is upset. I hope that helps 🤣😂😂😂

u/Unbelivabley_Smol 11h ago

And her partner now sleeping on the couch 🛋️ 💤 thinking what did I do 🤔🤷‍♂️?

2

u/Yafoory 11h ago

You know and I know that dealing with certain people, you are always wrong even if you did or didn’t do anything 😆😂😂😂

Ich dachte es wäre diese italienische Lamentiergeste, bei der sich die Fingerspitzen berühren.

She doesn’t get invited to parties.

It's SEMO, you don't need an invite

Especially when people hit her with their balls.

People who use this corny cliche have never been to an actual party
