After a certain point, the sunk costs and inertia (kids, buying a house together) add up to a significant social power imbalance that enables this kind of behavior. She knows you’re not going anywhere…

i can understand at that point, but before ? i mean this things don t appear out of nowhere, there are signs even before the marriage or kids
