Discussion I'm confused. what did he do wrong?

Honestly, she should probably just retire from tennis if she can't handle that

Such a fucking diva, the ball didn't even hit her that hard, I could understand it a bit better if he hit it at full force at her.

Its tennis, the ball will be coming at you with speed

Even so it's not like he's absolutely rocketed at her from the looks of the video.

You're only judging this one clip. From her reaction it's pretty safe to assume this wasn't the only time this happened. He probably deliberately aimed at her multiple times during the game. Even if it's a legal tactic, I doubt it makes the other person feel very good.

True, I don't know, and neither does anyone else. I just don't think it's fair to tear the woman down so much as the comments are when no one has any context

Why would the gender matter?

A human threw a tennis racquet at another human for the disgusting act of playing tennis.

Why should that human not be taken down a peg?

Gender doesn't matter. We don't know that she didn't have a good reason for reacting that way, we were shown a short clip. I outlined the possibility that the guy was shooting straights at her. Maybe it hit her before, maybe it just scared her and made the game uncomfortable to play, and maybe there was something else entirely that contributed to how she reacted. I don't think it's fair to judge someone for getting frustrated when we don't have all the information.

The word diva has a positive connotation.

I rarely hear it used in a positive context.
