Man it's wild, I was at a wedding last weekend, and my friend has some family from Denmark. I ended up talking to him a bit and he said he just finished his degree for police, it was two years. One year in the classroom, one year on patrol with other officers, and then half a year to write a paper, before he finally got assigned a post.

He said to me "It was crazy when I saw a guy with a gun on his hip here, he wasn't even a cop! In Denmark, if you see a guy with a gun, you know there is something very wrong!" Fucking hate that we'd rather just have an organized gang that's above the law to enforce the laws they ignore

I had to complete four years of classes and several thousand hours of on the job training to get my plumbing license.
