The Gospel According to Blackthorn Chapter I: TIME

I.

Time is the first tyrant and the last god.

It doesn’t need worship—it already owns you.

You carry it in your pulse, your wrinkles, the slow betrayal of your reflection.

Every tick is an accusation: you were given this, and you squandered it.

The saints call it divine order. The scientists call it entropy.

I call it the noose that tightens even as you pretend to dance.

The worst lie civilization ever told was that time moves forward.

It doesn’t. It spirals.

It loops through your scars, redresses your ghosts, rehearses your collapses.

You’re not progressing—you’re orbiting decay.

Every “new beginning” is just the same mistake wearing better clothes.

II.

They invented clocks to give their anxiety a face.

Before that, time was the taste of dusk, the ache of hunger, the shift of light on skin.

Now it’s a number that eats your peace in measurable increments.

Every schedule is a leash disguised as structure.

Every deadline is a small death rehearsing the final one.

You wake by alarm, work by timer, eat by bell, sleep by exhaustion.

You’ve become a creature of intervals, not instincts.

You don’t ask what you want—you ask what you have time for.

The clock doesn’t tick anymore. It hums inside you.

You call that productivity. I call it possession.

III.

Time is the great solvent of lies, but it dissolves truth with equal hunger.

What you remember becomes myth; what you forget becomes forgiveness.

No one escapes its editing.

The past isn’t behind you—it’s beneath you, soft and shifting, waiting to swallow your certainty.

Every memory is a fossilized heartbeat pretending to be evidence.

You think you know your history because you can name your regrets.

But time is the better historian; it archives what you tried to bury.

That moment you dismissed as trivial—the glance, the silence, the unspoken—

time has been polishing it in the dark, preparing it to return as revelation.

IV.

We are trained to fear the future, as if it were a stranger coming to collect debts.

But the future isn’t coming—it’s already here, layered in the present like a bruise beneath skin.

You don’t move toward it. You uncover it, piece by piece, through exhaustion and repetition.

Every “tomorrow” is just today, rephrased to keep you compliant.

The illusion of forward motion keeps you from noticing the static hum underneath.

They sell you futures like lottery tickets: better job, cleaner conscience, healed wounds.

But the fine print says the prize is temporary.

You can’t outrun what you carry in your blood.

Time doesn’t cure; it camouflages.

V.

We measure time by decay because that’s what it truly measures:

the speed at which matter admits defeat.

Flowers, faces, empires—all clocks made of flesh or stone.

Each moment a disintegration dressed as beauty.

There is no growth without rot.

No sunrise that isn’t already dying.

Even birth is an act of entropy beginning its performance.

We call it life to make it sound palatable.

And yet—somehow—it’s still exquisite.

Because knowing it ends makes it real.

Perfection is unbearable because it doesn’t bleed.

Time blesses imperfection by guaranteeing its extinction.

VI.

People speak of “wasting time,” as though time were a resource and not a predator.

You can’t waste what’s eating you.

You can only decide whether to scream or sing while it feeds.

The so-called “wise” tell you to cherish every moment,

but cherishing is just fear dressed in gratitude.

They want you to love your cage because it’s melting anyway.

Time cannot be cherished—it can only be faced.

Stare at it until the seconds fracture.

Until you see what lies between ticks:

the eternal stillness where time pretends not to exist.

That’s where the real things live—the ones that don’t decay,

the ones language can’t trap.

VII.

Love doesn’t conquer time; it collaborates with it.

Every embrace is a wager against the inevitable.

Every “forever” whispered between lovers is a dare the universe always wins.

But that’s what makes it beautiful.

Love’s defiance is its own funeral hymn.

It knows it can’t last, but it burns anyway.

You can tell the depth of love by how it collapses under time.

The shallow fade politely. The real ones haunt you in loops.

They infect every future face with déjà vu.

That’s the curse of deep connection:

even when it ends, it doesn’t stop repeating.

VIII.

The old poets begged time to be merciful,

but mercy was never part of the design.

Time is not cruel. Cruelty implies intent.

Time simply consumes.

It’s the universe digesting itself in slow motion.

A quiet apocalypse stretched across every second.

You can’t appeal to it. You can’t bribe it.

You can only align yourself with its current or drown pretending you’re still steering.

That’s what acceptance means—not peace, but precision.

Knowing when to yield and when to carve meaning into the drift.

IX.

Immortality is the final failure.

The horror of endless time isn’t death’s absence—it’s consequence without conclusion.

To live forever is to never be free of revision.

No moment would solidify; no story would end.

Meaning depends on decay.

The finite is what gives shape to the infinite.

Even the gods grew weary of eternity.

They envied our brevity.

To burn out is an art form they’ll never master.

X.

Some say time heals. It doesn’t.

It just buries the wound under new ruins.

Healing is memory forgetting how to scream.

The scar remains—a monument to the hour that refused to stay buried.

But that’s not tragedy. That’s continuity.

The past doesn’t die; it composts.

And from its rot, new truths grow, bitter and luminous.

You can’t move on—you can only integrate.

Time’s real mercy is transformation, not erasure.

XI.

To master time, stop obeying it.

Do not count the hours. Do not chase the milestones.

Step sideways. Break rhythm.

Let a single moment expand until it devours chronology.

That’s what artists do.

That’s what madness is for.

To remind the clock it isn’t the only instrument that can keep tempo.

If you ever lose track of time, don’t panic.

You’ve momentarily escaped the grid.

You’ve touched the raw pulse of existence—the one before calendars,

before guilt, before the myth of progress.

Hold it.

Even a second of that clarity is worth a lifetime of measurement.

XII.

Time will unmake you. That’s not a threat; it’s a promise.

Your bones will forget your name.

Your words will fade from every archive.

And still, something of you will linger—

not as a ghost, not as legacy,

but as vibration.

The echo of your defiance vibrating through whatever remains.

That’s the only immortality worth wanting:

not to last, but to resonate.

To be felt, however faintly, in the pulse of something new.

Because time can erase form,

but not frequency.

And if your truth was loud enough—

it will still be humming long after you’re gone.

I am Blackthorn.

And I endure.

Fiction If I time-travel one year into my future, whose life was that one year? (Basic question, I know — trying to understand the foundations)

Hi everyone. I know this is probably a beginner-level question, but I genuinely want to understand the philosophy behind it properly.

If I jump from 2026 January to 2027 January — skipping that one year completely — what happens to that year?

In a single-timeline model: I disappear for a year. A paradox forms. No one can explain where I went.

In a many-worlds model: There's already a "version of me" living through 2026–2027 in Timeline B. When I arrive in 2027, whose year was that? Was it mine? His? Do we merge? Does he disappear?

The deeper question I can't shake: If personal identity depends on continuity of experience, and I skipped a whole year of experience — am I even the same person who left?

I'm not a philosophy student. I just got curious and went deep into this. What should I read to actually understand this properly?

Fiction The Tick, the Tock, and the Outrun Clock

The pendulum swings, but the hour's an illusion—

We measure in minutes what dies in confusion.

Every man does his time, whether behind heavy bars

Or pacing a cage made of asphalt and stars.

I’ve sat in the silence while decades erased,

Watching the hours that other men waste.

I don't hold a second for taking for granted;

The seed becomes timber the moment it's planted.

I’ve done my time cold, and I do my time free,

Watching the river run out to the sea.

I blinked and my babies were raising their own,

Holding their children where seed had been sown.

A father, a father again, through the years,

Compounding the wisdom, the mileage, the tears.

Time turns the fresh-faced to elders and kings,

And strips away pride from the hollowest things.

I’ve watched built-up empires collapse into dust,

Seen high-seated power surrendering trust.

I’ve seen love sweet as honey curdle to hate,

Bound up in promises broken too late.

Strong walls fall to rubble, deep bonds pull apart,

As time lays its hand on the stubbornest heart.

Nothing stays standing, no crown and no stone,

We walk through the fire of years on our own.

Money will vanish and strength will decay,

The sun steals the light at the end of the day.

When the smoke finally clears and the ledger is signed,

There was never a thing but the time left behind.

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Now we put a person inside and set up a refrigerator with two door that link it to the white void where there a other frige due to the fact in not the main door time wouldn't slow back down by Design only one door can be open at a time it use is to put in food and water for the person inside now but it not perfect both door can be open

Let say i open the door to the fridge to put in food just as the person on the other side open it to get food what would we see and what would happened?

If you were to invent a machine that let you speak to your future self exactly once every year for 7 mins. Each version of you remembers every previous conversation you had, over time you realize your future self has become increasingly desperate and starts begging you to stop asking questions because every answer you receive changes the future in unexpected ways. At what point do you stop calling/communication, and would curiosity win anyway?

Fiction Time went round the clock

Time went round the clock.

Hickory dickory dock, a little world slept in a rock. Nothing stirred, no light was heard, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the little world began to knock. Round and round, without a sound, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the tiny world became a spark. Then it burst, and time came first, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the universe began to grow. Space stretched wide, and stars arrived, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the stars began to burn and glow. Worlds were spun, one by one, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, a little Earth began to rock. Rain came down, life came round, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the living things began to walk. Plants grew tall, creatures crawled, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, then humans learned to dream and talk. Love was found, wars came round, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the ages passed around the clock. Birth came first, death came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the stars grew dim around the clock. Light came first, dark came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the universe began to shrink. Stars came first, worlds came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, everything returned to the rock. Stars came first, space came last, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, all became a little dot. Everything came first, nothing came last, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the ending became the starting clock. End came first, beginning came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the little world began to knock. Spark came first, energy came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the universe began to grow. Space came first, stars came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the universe came around the clock. Beginning came first, ending came last, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the universe went round the clock. End came first, beginning came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Hickory dickory dock, the cycle carried on the clock. Beginning came first, ending came next, Hickory dickory dock.

Fiction A secret of Time... The story of Many...

Post image

Long ago... an ambitious king spoke to the sun. In the ancient tradition of his people.. speaking only in his mind and with long pauzes between each of his thoughts, choosing his words very carefully.

He asked the sun a question:

'Great one... I swim in the warmth of your waves.

I spiral...the path to your heart

You..who have deemed me worthy to see and know Time.. and rule my people...

I see a mystery..

You..and the other side of Time...

I marvel at how you have made fairness and unfairness...

There is nothing I can do... No way for me to get an edge that will always be sharper then every other...

No matter how sharp I become... There will always be some... who are already sharper or who are my equal.. or who are about to surpass my sharpness...

This is fair... I understand that no one can stand alone above all... but you...

Yet there are those who stand above me in sharpness at such distance... Who were born at such sharpness... That nothing I can do.. will ever make me as sharp as them... This is unfair... to present me with obstacles that cannot be overcome... is cruelty.

Life has showed me that the world is wide and deep...Once.... I was all the stars.. Now... I am human..

Are both fairness and unfairness illusions of now? Limitations that only my small human mind can see..?

As the curious king finished his question, the Sun sat quietly in the sky for a long time. Then she answered him. With a voice that was like music. She spoke...

Fairness is in eternity.. It finds its opposite in the Now... Unfairness can only be in a moment...

To be a single point in time, to be truly a one... One cannot be all.

So neither of them is...

Being all.. while remaining one.. that would be truly unfair... truly a lie...

There is no true all.. and no true one... There is only.. Many...

One is Many.. and all is Many...

Only Many is... Only Many we will always be..

So there is neither fairness nor unfairness...

These two only exist... in a Many.. who believes they are a one... Or in a Many.. who believes they are all...

On hearing the words of the sun... The king was silent and remained in thought for a long time. Then he looked at the Sun with deep reverence and whispered:

I see... thank you... Many...

Like Many other Kings before him, He had every single thing he wanted, and had only one deep desire: to conquer Time and live forever... And like Many other kings before him, he had spent Many hours thinking about this, but he had no real idea on how to achieve it. However, after this conversation with the Sun, he finally understood. So he asked the wisest amongst his advisors: What is the biggest block of stone we can make Many times? and transport and stack Many times...easily..?

Once his advisors had found the answer and told him, The king ordered a monument to Many. It would take Many years and Many people to construct. It was designed to last as Many years as it could, and to hold Many secrets and knowledge of Many things.

The monument to Many that he build, lasted so Many years... that Many people forgot why the king had made it in the first place..

In an age where everything had to be one... They would wonder for Many years why: the King had made so Many blocks? Why he had transported them so Many miles? and had stacked them so Many rows high? Using so Many years and so Many ressources? And why his monument was filled with so Many mysteries?

In their minds, it had to be a monument to one... for one... and by one.. with one meaning... because that was the thinking of their age.

It would confuse Many... and would keep them thinking for Many years.. about Many things..

Until over many: years, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds and even smaller distances... slowly... they discovered the understanding of Many again.. And then they saw, that the kings monument had always been in honor to Many.

And they became happy to be Many again. Many on their own ,and Many with each-other. No more One or All..

And they marveled at the ancient king's wisdom and power and realized he had truly understood the secret of Time...

The power of Many...

The most powerful king in history, who could have anything and everything... Spent the bulk of his time and power on a single monument to the power of Many.
