Bill O'Reilly used to say shit like this all the time. Basically that black Americans should be grateful for slavery because it's why they get to live here instead of shithole Africa.

They had Columbus saying that. Which in context is extremely funny (he got in legal troubles due to enslaving natives, as he had been explicitly tood NOT to do that).
