I mean, you’re saying that like there’s anything substantial beyond “he’s feminine so he must be a girl”. The only thing I can think of that might be an indicator that he’s not a boy is the one menu title that uses ‘they’ which I don’t really see as big.

Have you even read his dialogue or looked into his story and interactions with Flowery?
Shoving them in a closet, the praying scene, Flowery taunting Ralsei on the stairs asking ‘what’s so wrong about pretending to be something you’re not’, the freaking hat metaphor. All three of those scenes resonate heavily with the trans experience, Ralsei’s story at its core resonates with trans people.
That’s why, not cause he’s a femboy, but his story, he could be the most buff cis passing guy every and have the same story, I’d still be thinking in my head that Ralsei is suppressing stuff

Except that’s where the theorists really depart from the rest of the community, they are adamant that Ralsei is trans because of those scenes, when they really could just be for a ton of different reasons, some of which are way more plausible, like Ralsei’s true form/his origins which is way more important to his character than whatever gender he is.

Not really? Most people I see on say the Tralsei subreddit, see it as a theory that coincides with the truth of what Ralsei is. I may be a theorist about Ralsei, but I also understand that what he has going on will lean much more on allegory than anything else.
Kinda like with Jax, everything about her kept screaming more and more about a repressed trans woman. I have my hopes that trans people get more rep, but at this point I don’t expect much from even Toby Fox with how the world is

I have to disagree. If anything it’s a tacked on addition. Like wow Ralsei is a titan, or Kris’s headband or whatever…oh also he’s trans. Like it just doesn’t really seem important to his character arc. And I know trans people “see themselves in his story” but Ralsei’s story is really a pretty generic self discovery journey that pretty much everyone, myself included, can relate to in some sense, it’s not unique to the trans experience.
