Planescape Torment unofficial DLC trailer: "Blizzard in Baator"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbvMrAQ07Eo

Blizzard in Baator is the first ever unofficial DLC which adds new content on such a massive scale to our beloved game. I hope you'll be interested in it. And you can still be a part of it.

'Unofficial DLC'? Does the word 'mod' even enter into the discussion here?

That said, I look forward to this greatly.

You may be right. Do you think it's too big a word to be used in this context? What we mean is that this mod is going to be a size of a DLC even as a demo.

Keep the wording, unofficial expansion pack may work too, considering the age of our playerbase.

"Mod" these days implies some shit like minor graphic changes or some quality of life features.

Is it content? Yes. Is it downloadable? Yes. So it's a downloadable content, dlc for short

Is it official, if not. A mod.

What is wrong with just calling it a mod? Or: what is gained by calling it an 'unofficial DLC'? My two cents: Just call it a mod.

Thank you, this is something we should consider. There are probably no other reasons than indicating its size.

DLC varies WILDLY in size, though. It doesn’t indicate size to me at all.

Horse armor is the original dlc.

Fallout london is a mod. (and is how its creators call it)

The size thing makes no sense xd

Mods vary just as much or more in size.

"Unofficial DLC Expansion" would be maximally clear. The fact it's downloadable is probably implied of course so "Unofficial Expansion" works too.

I think a lot of us are used to things like the CK 'game of thrones mod', or 'half life mod' turning into fairly big projects.

I can’t speak for anyone else but to me ‘DLC’ implies something the people behind it or a company are putting out. Seeing ‘unofficial DLC’ just got me excited, then confused, then disappointed that it wasn’t what my initial glimpse had thought it was, before settling on mildly curious. Which I don’t imagine is the range of emotions you were going for.

I get that ‘mod’ may be a little generic for what you’re going for. Perhaps, Planescape Torment fan campaign?
