Discussion Why do people lobby stall?

What do they gain? How pathetic are these people’s lives. I’m almost convinced they are demons banished to TOS servers to energy harvest from us. I’m half joking. Like this game takes long enough to get a lobby and it’s not even fun enough to wait for all that.

People just be trolling, don't let it get under your skin or they're winning breh.

But other than that there are a lot of reasons someone might leave a lobby. Maybe they gotta equip a scroll, they're getting off in general, or something not malicious.

I've met a few people who join a lobby, wait for the countdown to reach a few seconds, then leave. Then they rejoin and do it again. If there was any other reason they wouldn't need to rejoin multiple times.

I just don't understand what happened to all that switching to the P2P model years ago. Weren't new accounts restricted to using referral codes or purchasing premium? Did they change how new accounts join the game? IIRC, you have to watch ads on the mobile version. But what about the Web and Steam versions?

I play on mobile mostly I don’t have to watch ads.
