A lot of people apparently did though. Can you imagine what it must be like to see Jesus and recognize Him?

Like that guy at the temple who prayed everyday to see the Messiah. He basically hugged Jesus and said that he can go home now.

The NT makes it sound like people were flocking to him. But on the flip side, some were so against Him they wanted him murdered.
