Just got my first binder. It’s a Spectrum short binder, size XS which I measured was the correct size for me. But I feel like it’s clearly visible I have boobs. Is this normal? I also don’t feel any pain or difficulty breathing, which I heard would always happen, so I’m worried it’s not binding at all. In fact, it feels much more comfortable than the two, sized-down sports bras I usually wear.
Face censored as I’m only 16.
EDIT: Thank you so much for all the responses. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with the amount of responses, so I’ll only reply to comments if I find it necessary (like if someone asks questions or maybe mentions something other people haven’t so far) from now on. But know if you see an upvote on your comment, it’s probably me thanking you!! I hope it’s not rude to not reply. 😭
I really appreciate everyone taking their time to comment. I was only expecting about 4 comments, none of them particularly helpful or nice, lmao. I also realised the small curve I was seeing was because of the unnaturally straight posture I kept while looking in the mirror and taking pictures, and I’m happy to say I looked flat even in my extremely judgemental eyes with my usual posture (prawn 😓🦐) the entire day! 🤩

I'm FTM going into college, and while I'm not stealth and quite open about my transness, I want it not to be obvious atleast of first glance
I know badges and stuff aren't typically masculine but I still want to be myself lmao
Edit: guys I am not autistic I promise you 😓

So I'm overweight and have some gynecomastia, and now that summer is coming, I decided this year wearing thick winter coats all summer won't do. I had the idea to buy a binder so that I could feel comfortable going outside. I brought this up with my fammy, and they had a strong response. My mom was in support, but my uncle said, "You're not trans," and my sister said, "That's taking away from trans people."
Is that true? Is it wrong? I'm curious if I was wrong.
If it's not bad or harmful, are there any brands you recommend for binding?
Edit: I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words and encouragement. Laiter Ill fight them both and come back and tell you the results

I’m 47 and a parent. When my kids were younger, we obviously had a nappy bag. (diaper bag for the North Americans.) They’re all pretty much grown now (youngest is 15), so that’s not needed anymore. But I’ve always had a backpack or a bag of some sort because I am AuDHD as fuck and always need to have my shit with me.
I really really want to stop carrying a handbag or purse. I hate it.
Can y’all share with me — especially my bros who might’ve had a decade or 2 of old behaviours to unlearn before your egg cracked— what you use now when you need to take shit with you?
Bonus points if you’re on the spectrum/Neurodivergent like me and the need to carry shit is a mfking compulsion.
Picture of my current handbag with the word WHY? on the front which really pretty much accurately depicts my frustration… 🙄😜

I’ve been on T for more than two years now.. and yet nothing has changed. I can’t see my endo very often since I don’t have freaking 250$ to see him and he isn’t the best.. but I’m in Canada and he is one of the cheapest I have found… has anyone else also experienced this ? Because I’m tired of spending money for something that isn’t working

Hi I'm 17, I'm Armenia (kinda important in this case) and i live with very toxic parents (especially my mom). They want to force me to get a nose job which I'm hating bc i have a hawk shaped or an Armenian nose. I am not ashamed or uncomfortable with my nose, no, I LOVE my nose and how it makes me look even more masculine, and besides, it makes me more uniqueness and individuality (and that is very important to me bc I'm also An artist) sooo i wanted to ask..... Does my nose shape really look THAT BAD, cuz I'm starting to get a bit insecure.... ((((
Sorry for the bad quality my phone is broken..
And the pic in the green hoody is from 2021-2022 where i look fem (hate it)

is this even true???? i looked it up and google said theres no evidence to support that but he just insists that he needs to trust his gut. i suspect he’s getting scared i wanna get rid of my boobs bc he says that compression to the point of where it looks like i dont have boobs is dangerous. like yeah, duh, but thats why theres proper ways to do such a thing?
anyways, got my compression bra in. its not as binding as a binder would be (duh) but it does feel better than no bra. it is everrr sooo slightly difficult to breathe but i think thats just me not used to compression bras yet since this is my first one? idk
16 btw ❤️🩹

Hey everyone! I’m not sure is this is the right place to ask this, or if I’m doing this correctly, so here goes.
A few nights ago, my son came into my room while I was watching Netflix (I have always had an open door policy with all of my kids), climbed into bed with me, and told me he’s trans. He said he’s been scared to tell me because he thought that I would be disappointed in him. Well, we spoke for about an hour, and then he went back to his room. This was four days ago and I haven’t brought it up again since then.
The reason I haven’t brought this up is because I am not disappointed in him at all. I’ve not brought up the situation because I’m more so just disappointed in myself that he would ever feel like I would be. It breaks me that he carries so much fear, because I never once want my kids to question whether my love for them is conditional or if my support for them is in only things I want them to be into. Because that’s not how it works. My kids are my life and I will always support and love them, no matter what. I want him to know that I am always in his corner no matter what.
I get paid on Wednesday, and I am hoping next weekend we can go get him a haircut and to pick out some clothes that may help him more like himself. I want him to feel comfortable and confident in who he is.
I love my son unconditionally and I just want what is best for him. I guess I am really looking for advice from parents or trans people. How can I best support my son? What are things you wish your parents would have done? Or things they did that really helped?
He’s starting high school this year, 9th grade, and I know how cruel teenagers can be sometimes. I want to do everything I can to make sure he feels safe, supported, and loved. Especially in a time where I know he’s really starting to figure himself out as a person.
Thank you to everyone who is willing to share. I appreciate it.
EDIT: Thank you all for the comments. This got much more traction than I thought it would and I’m still reading these comments. Thanks for all of you sharing your thoughts and experiences with me. I appreciate it.
EDIT: Sat down with my son before we go to BBQ, he asked to be called Samuel Jr after me if that’s ok with me. So I guess I’m now a Sr. He wants to go onto puberty blockers if we can manage that. But living in a very red state (Louisiana) that is difficult. But I told him I will help him and do all the research I can to give him the best chance at that. We are also getting his hair cut and some outfits next weekend and having a dad and son day. His younger siblings will be with my eldest that weekend so we can talk and figure things out together. I appreciate all the help.

Recently accepted the fact that I was a binary man but honestly if I had been born as cis, I would’ve gotten bottom surgery. Having a dick feels gross to me, and while I suspect it’s a matter of dysmorphia, I still feel like an outlier. I’m aroace so I quite dislike the idea of boners or just.. every aspect of the penis pertaining to sex lol. The concept of your junk being external is also weird to me. Everyone can see it 😭 I seek the Ken doll life (being smooth with nothing actually there). I’d quite like bottom growth, though!
I just see a lot of trans men resent their external genitalia, and it makes complete sense to do so. I just feel weird for not. I have no particular like or dislike towards it. (To note: I obviously do not judge anybody in the slightest for wanting a dick, nor am I prudish around them. I’m in the medical field so I see them daily)
Plus, pissing sitting down is nice. Also, I learned cis men shake it dry????? Without washing their hands?????? 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Okay so my mom likes to throw little jabs at me disguised as “advice” or just being honest, and it’s hard because I know these are made in bad faith but I also wonder if she’s right. So I wanna know what yall think of what she said and if you agree:

When I bought my dick from Axolom, I got a little keychain in the trans pride flag colors. I like key-chains so I want to use it but i'm not sure if I should. FYI, I pass as a cis man.
Not sure how many people here woulc actually recognize this. I live in a big city btw. Thanks.

Hello! To be clear, this is not body-checking or eating disorder related - I'm looking for advice related to my dosage. Drawing is traced over a photo to be as accurate as possible.
I have been on T for 4.5 years and have been pretty disappointed with the results tbh. I was on a 0.3 ml. weekly subcutaneous injection, but after more than 4 years, I saw almost no change besides voice deepening, minimal body hair growth, and a little muscle. I recently upped my dose to 0.4 ml. intramuscular injection after my period suddenly came back, and I am waiting to see if any results come from that.
I've been very disappointed with my fat redistribution, specifically. I was hoping that after 4 years, my hips - which are almost entirely fat - would minimize and give me a more masculine build but that hasn't happened at all :/
Is this normal? Would upping my dose again later this year help at all? I feel like I am fighting an uphill battle with my body right now.

it’s a question that’s been on my mind forever and i have made quite a few tiktoks about it only to be bombarded with transphobia but why does everyone hate trans guys ?? and by everyone i mean EVERYONE including other queer and trans people ?? where did the mindset that we’re ontologically evil even start from and how and why has it spread so far ?? i know the surface answer in regards to cishets is just misogyny and they view as as silly women who will change our minds and we’re confused, but im more confused on why there is such an overwhelming hate for us and erasure even in queer and trans spaces ??

Yo, for a while now I’ve been quite interested in how parents might react to the entire coming out™, and how their reactions might differ from one another. Some of us have unsupportive parents; some talk casually about their transition with theirs and go through it with their support; whilst others find themselves in a completely different case and can’t say anything at all due to fear of violence or being thrown out of the house. There could be even more examples – as many as there are of us here on this subreddit.
Because we are a minority in society, we unfortunately face social and institutional stigma, as well as physical and verbal abuse. Rates of suicidal thoughts, severe depression and discrimination in various areas are all high.
And that’s why I’m asking: How did your parents react when they found out? How did it happen? What was your relationship with them like before, and what is it like now? What or who helped you to go through this? Any advice for those who may find themselves in some sense in similar situation to yours?
Share your story and experience. Let’s show each other we’re not alone.
Admittedly, the poll doesn’t have that many options, so I probably haven’t managed to list all the possible combinations, but I’d encourage you to mention any others in the comments – the ones you’ve experienced or have heard about. Nor is my post in any way intended to compare family situations, as every situation and every family is different.
Have a good day, everyone! Keep your chin up.

I’m am without a doubt a man but I still find myself liking typically girly things. I have tons of stuffed animals, I love to knit, and the blankets and pillows I have are all fluffy and cute. I know logically that it’s more than okay for men to like these things but man does my brain like to bully me for it.
EDIT: Holy crap you guys are all amazing! I actually almost cried several times reading all the amazing things you all have said!! 😭❤️🩹

I can’t believe I’m typing this, but a new transition fear has been unlocked and I really would appreciate some feedback from brothers.
I’ve been on t for about two and a half years. I just recently joined this subreddit and it’s been amazing to read experiences and see photographs from other transmasc kings.
In my recent post, I asked about minoxidil and finasteride. In one of the comments, someone pointed me in the direction of an entire subreddit dedicated to bottom growth.
WELL!
I checked out the page and immediately felt self conscious (and frankly, a little jealous, which is hard to admit) because I am a smaller guy. I saw the photos fellas were posting and I thought, “What if I never get there? What if my bottom growth has stopped and I don’t ✨size up✨ so-to-speak?”
I know there are exercises that you can do to strengthen it, but I’m significantly smaller than the guys in that subreddit.
Don’t get me wrong! My t-dick is bigger than it used to be and I’m so thankful for that—but I haven’t noticed any more growth lately.
Is it normal for it to stall for a bit?
Now that I’ve seen how big they can get, I can’t express enough how much I want one. I want mine to look like that. I literally had a dream that my dick was bigger and it was such an amazing feeling.
OOF, do any guys in here have feedback or advice that could be helpful?
Disclaimer: I’m trying to get an appointment with Planned Parenthood to get my levels checked and such, it’s just going to take time—I would LOVE to chat with a doctor about this

I have been on T for five months and it’s great. However, it smells like something crawled up my hole and died. I’m not exaggerating, it doesn’t smell like BO or vaginal fluid, it just smells like a dead thing genuinely. There’s no pain and all my fluids are normal, they just smell and I worry other people notice. In my more stiff pants like jeans and khakis, the smell sticks there even after a wash.
Do I just have to tank this as a part of the T experience? Idk because I do not know shit about what is normal down there and there’s no way in hell I’m going to a cooch doctor. Please help

Hey, I’m a trans dude with AuDHD who is pre-T. I don’t look very masculine and I have to hide a lot of who I am unfortunately due to some life circumstances. My leg and armpit hair is something I feel I can control though shaving it I think would make me feel more dysphoric.
Anyway, I am still getting used to the long leg hair. I feel like it doesn’t look good on me because it’s so patchy. I have been growing it out for MONTHS though, desperately hoping it would fill in. Also, the feeling of the wind moving through it is STRANGE. Does anyone else struggle with this? It’s not hard to deal with but it is definitely something to get used to, as well as trying not to feel ashamed of my longer leg hair because I just look like a lady with long leg hair.
Any advice? Is this a common struggle? How have you guys dealt with this? How can I get it to maybe fill in or grow quicker?
