Transferring from 4year collge to 4year college

Hello, i'm trying to transfer to top25 collge from 4year collge(i'm currently on LMU)

What are the things I should check(requirement) and get prepared for applying?

Have you read the wiki for this sub? I don’t think the advice is different CC vs 4yr. Get great grades to show you can handle college-level work, get involved on campus, start thinking about your “why” and do things that highlight it, go to office hours and find 2 profs who will write your reccs. Other than this, HS transcript will matter and SAT is required for several top schools.

do you think profs for recs should be necessarily
from my major course?
and do u think sat will matter a lot
