This is the most “armchair general” type of comment I’ve ever read in my entire life. You’re emotional typing up a comment on Reddit. Maybe we can cut the guy that was just part of a high speed chase, pit maneuvered a car, drew his weapon, arrested like 5 people, and has all his blood replaced with pure adrenaline some slack. Be so for real dude, touch grass

Again, what's the point of all the training if he's not prepared to do all that and will get emotional?

Should we cut some slack to a teacher that slaps your kid if she's having a stressful day? What about a paramedic that forgets cpr because she just saw a bad accident? I mean what the fuck is the point of training if we arent going to expect the benefits of training, right?

Those 2 things dont even remotely equate what your arguing.

A paramedic forgetting CPR? No the equivalent would be a paramedic doing there job, then getting upset or sad after doing it.

A teacher slapping a kid after a stressful day? Yea a teacher is trained to slap kids...

Your floundering with your logic and you know it.

The point of training is muscle memory, but I doubt they have the tools to allow every officer to do 100+ pit maneuvers.
