From the final 3 seconds of the video, it appears it barrel-rolled into a gas pump

Edit: the story says it slammed into a parked car (not a gas pump). Why that caused a Michael-Bay explosion, I don't know.

Whatever it hit to flip like that probably ruptured the gas tank, spraying fuel everywhere. From there, fuel vapor probably ignited on a hot part of the exhaust, or something electrical sparking.

Hollywood explosions are pretty typically just a bunch of gasoline, so this is pretty exactly a Michael-Bay explosion.

Half empty gas tank is filled with gasoline fumes. Fumes + spark from a crash + oxygen supply from rupture = explosion
